 Well it looks like I'm being nudged by my boss @ work to decide what I'm going to do when the plant closes. I honestly haven't a clue with my world being turned upside down and not knowing what's going to happen. But I know I'm being guided and just have to trust in myself to either see the right opportunity or make the right one happen. Course I could always win the lottery tonight and be a muti millionaire, wouldn't that be KARMIC with what I'm going through now with Peggy. I'd have to give her some percentage for still being my wife even if on paper only. But then I always kidded with her saying that's our retirement in the future, forget the pension and social security we'll still be eating cat food for supper as it's all we'll be able to afford. Well back to the title. Of course I come back to double work for the days gone. And now with us going to under a year before closing they're wanting to mico MANAGE everything. Ovando and I have been busting butt to keep up with just day to day tasks let alone putting together mutiple shipments to go back, looks like I'll be working more Saturday's trying to keep up. And now they want me to start working STARTUP of the plant again to give ol Henry a break so he can train during the day without getting tired. I guess I'm going to just do what they ask of me until I get a better idea of what I'm to do. I know paying off the home I used to live in and just getting something I like to make ends meet is off the table. I doubt Peggy will give me the house even tho she gave her ex husband Jeff one. Said she'd burn it to the ground before he ever got it. Well something good will happen I just have to trust in that, even tho good guys always seem to finish last in this reality.GO FIGURE? Oh and Peggy if your monitoring my myspace site here's a couple of pics you can print and play darts on.

Well I just got back from the Woodward Dream Cruise and what a blast. All the other SSR owners were fantastic people who were genuinly interested in being a SSR family taking care of one another. As evidinced by Chris (DEVEST8R) having his fan go out on him and one of the other members going out to him and helping him replace the defective one with one of their! How many other people, let alone a club, will do that for you?(other than triple A or your brother).  The festivities at Debra's house were great as I didn't expect anything, it being my first event that I attended. And lo I get this cool booty bag with a SSR Woodward Dream Cruise patch and a sticker for the SSR and a framed picture of our beloved SSR', what an afternoon. Can't wait till next spring tho and go to the Maggie Valley Run, Dan seemed like a really great guy, funny too as you'll see in the blog photos. Gina's posts on the SSR forum are funny as well so you gotta figure they both will leave you in stich's. Marvin and Judy I love you guys, really friendly people who wanted to share what they know about the SSR and they both made you feel real. Debra (hotrodgirl) and Steve thank you for being so gracious with your home and allowing us all to meet at your place. I gotta admit it sure looked COOL with 20 SSR's or so in the front yard(not to mention the Ferrari) and they all being unique. The GM Heritage Center (not open to the public)was way cool seeing concept cars from the past and test cars from the salt flats as well as first production and final production vehicles,Corvettes, Pontiacs, Buick, Cadillac you name it and if it wasn't there it was at the GM Style Center on Woodward with the celebraties like Carmon Electra and Jimmy from the Man Show. After the Heritage Center we went up to Woodward and cruised the strip. What a trip. Prowlers, 57 Impalla's, GTO's, Mustangs, Corvettes, 40's Hot Rods, The ZZ Top car, the BATMobile from the 70's, you name it and it was there. Of course it is a slow moving parking lot but who cares when you go by cars parked on the side that are wait, wait let me get that picture. Later that evening we were to hook up at The Limelight Bar and resturant but I didn't make the meal reservations in time so I instead met my friend and co worker Anne(up from Atl for a project with GM) and had dinner paid for by the company(Oh what a life). Saturday we all met at the Chase Bank on Woodward and filled the lot with SSR's. While there I bought a lighted wind suppressor from Ray, and what a cool look it gives. It's etched w/ SSR in the center and bevelled on the edge and gives a fiber optic effect that is way COOL at night. Walked down the Ave instead of driving to see the sights, plus it was an even slower parking lot today, although you did see an occasional peel out or burn out. Heard DEVEST8R doin doughnuts in the parking lot and felt I had to add mine next to it along w/ a figure 8. Left the next day around 10 am and made it home by the same time in the PM, 12 hours w/ one stop for food at the Waffle house and a couple at the SUNNOCO station's befor leaving KY.(why not use the same gas that NASCAR uses). Anyway hope whoever looks at this Blog enjoys my pics and my blog. C U next time peeps.

So it's that time of year again. You know people flying around trying to slam into each other and generally beating the heck out of other. FOOTBALL the past time for all of us who miss the thrill of tackling the guy with the ball. I used to be a season ticket holder for the Falcons, but couldn't see the sense in wasting the money on an empty seat, as my Wife at the time hated it and all sports in general. But as I told her then, during the fall it's my time to be a football fan scince I  gave up my season tickets. Tho I wish my dogs could take a bite out of ol Mikey, oops I don't have any dogs now(maybe my soon to be EX wife let them die like she did my Koi). I can't think but that ol Mikey' career as a football player is washed up. To bad we let Schuab go, he was a good starting QB for any team as we'll soon see this year. And my Giants (oh my GOD) where oh where did the defense go? They used to be one of the most feared defense' in the league, but from what I saw of the first team in last nights game it looks as if they'll be last in the NFL. Well it'll be a good year for me to channel my frustrations and aggression into football at least. Maybe I'll get season tickets again and go full circle. Let's go FALCONS and GIANTS.

I must admit that my truck has kept me sane and happy thru this period in my life. It must have been some sort of insite from my Cancer intuition that made me get it. It's definitly the only vehicle I'll ever want again and can't stand to be without. And to think I almost bought my soon to be EX wife a Custom Kitchen instead of my SSR. She never cooked for me so I guess she was planing on cooking for boyfriend John. C'est la vie, I have a midlife crisis and get a car to make me happier. She has a midlife crisis and gets a new lover. As her EX husband Jeff said" I guess some people never learn from their mistakes", tho His smile said it all (SUCKER). The SSR won't cook for me in the traditional sense, but it cooks some tires when I want it to(tho I could fry an egg on the engine if I needed)..

 Well it looks as tho things are getting better and better in the understanding department. And that is a GOOD thing. Can't brag about our Delaware Ave Social Club performance at darts, even though we won our division. We were trounched without the team captian (Andy) and nobody was really on. Maybe the DASC will move up another division due to winning it, but based on the championship I'd guess not. Well better luck next year I guess
